| Welcome to Jesus out Loud 2012! Jesus out Loud is a spring music festival that features various Christian artists and speakers. Jesus out Loud is hosted by the Christian Friendship Community, a ministry focusing largely on supporting those coming out of the grips of substance abuse. After witnessing the negative impact of drugs and alcohol on society, we realised that there is a need for a healthy alternative to popular music festivals, free from the negative influences of drugs and alcohol. Therefore Jesus out Loud is aimed at promoting sobriety and a responsible lifestyle whilst creating awareness about the dangers of substance abuse. Experts in the field of addiction will also give short powerful talks on the dangers of substance abuse and Pastors and youth leaders can receive advice on how to help those dealing with addiction. Jesus out Loud features a variety of different music genres ranging from Rock to Hip-hop and Dance, praise and worship bands and gospel. As we live in a country often divided by cultural barriers we also believe that it is our responsibility as Christians to break down those barriers. Therefore our vision is also one of unity and we aim to bring Christians from all cultural and denominational backgrounds together to worship the Lord, fellowship and make friends. We also invite Church youth groups to come as a group and enjoy the festival together. There are fun team building activities where they can compete with other youth groups. Festival goers can also enjoy stalls where people can sell various products including food and drinks or promote their ministries. |
